Rimbik is a small town in the Singalila National Park area of Darjeeling District. The small town is a tourist hub for trekkers travelling to the Singalila National Park area including Sandakphu. In the recent past there has been some interest from the offbeat leisure tourists who want to explore the region beyond traditional tourist destinations. Rimbik is perched on a hill above river Rammam flowing from Sikkim to Bengal. The small town is the last major hamlet in the Bengal side and is close to Nepal and Sikkim boarders.
