These are the local dishes in Mount Abu. You can easily find them with the street vendors. Ghoogri is mostly an evening snack. Lapsi is a sweet dish made from broken wheat, jaggery, and butter.
Ghevar
Ghevar is a sweet dish made of flour. The flour paste is deep fried and soaked in sugar syrup. It is also sometimes topped with nuts, condensed milk, or cream to enhance the taste.
Apart from these food, you can also try the chutneys served with the snacks in the streets. They are bit spicy, but you get to taste a different flavor. The general taste of people in Mount Abu is spicy as it beats the natural heat.
