Reaching Ajmer by air

The Jaipur International Airport is the closest airport from Ajmer. It is located at about 135 kilometers from Ajmer and can reach your destination in about 2-3 hours. You can easily get a taxi from this airport to cover the remaining distance. However, we suggest pre-booking a taxi to avoid excess waiting time.

Reaching Ajmer by train

Ajmer has its own railhead located at the city center. The Ajmer Junction railway station is well connected with major cities of India. From Ajmer Railway station, you can take local transport like rickshaw or bus or private taxi to reach your stay.

Reaching Ajmer by road

You can board the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation buses from any city of Rajasthan to reach Ajmer. There is a facility for both deluxe and semi-deluxe buses.

Best time to visit Ajmer

Ajmer is a year-round destination, i.e. you can visit the place any time of the year. Still, the period between October and March is the best since this is the winter season. After March, the summer starts and the days go extremely hot.
