Darjeeling is a hill station in the Eastern State of West Bengal. Also called the queen of hill-stations, at an altitude of 2134 m. or 7000 ft, it is a famous hill resort offering a breath taking sight of the numerous peaks of the majestic Himalayas. The clouds seem to whisper to one another here and from horizon to horizon stretches the Kanchanjunga, covered with snow from the head to foot all round the year. The views of Kanchanjunga and Mount Everest are particularly inspiring and are alone a good reason to visit Darjeeling. 90 kms from Bagdogra, and a little over a 100 kms each from Gangtok and Kalimpong, Darjeeling is well connected to the other Eastern Hill-stations. The nearest airport is at Bagdogra, 90 km away from Darjeeling. Bagdogra is connected to Delhi, Mumbai, Guwahati and Kolkata by regular flights. Day 1: Darjeeling To Darjeeling

Pickup from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) then transfer to Darjeeling nearly 105 kilometers 3 ½ - 4 hours drive – At a height of 2123 meters / 70001 feet lies the land of breathtaking beauty, sloping tea gardens with spectacular views of the Mount Everest is the Queen of the hills. Check into hotel, evening free to roam around Mall or local Shopping center - Over Night stay in Darjeeling.

Day 2: Darjeeling To Darjeeling

Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to altitude of 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, back to hotel for breakfast - After breakfast rest for half an hour and get ready for next round of sightseeing - Half Day city tour includes Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tenzing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Rangeet Valley Tea Garden, Peace Pagoda – Back to hotel – Evening free to stroll around the area - Overnight stay in Darjeeling .

Day 3: Darjeeling To Darjeeling

After breakfast transfer to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) - Nearly 105 kilometers 3 ½ - 4 hours drive – Forwarding Journey. Trip ends here.

1) Driver's night allowance applicable if the driver drives between 10 pm & 6 am (Rs 250 for sedan & SUV and Rs 300 for tempo traveler)
2) If Cab runs more than total KMs estimated for the package, then per KMs charges will be applicable
3) A/C will be switched off in hilly areas.
4) The trip is for a specified period of time (same day). It may not be possible to visit all the places in the given time.  Its advised that the client specify the places to visit ahead of the tour so that the client's needs are incorporated into the day and any confusion or disagreements are avoided. 
If for any reason, the sightseeing places that are planned to be visited are either not open or busy or if the plan is constrained by time, the client and driver need to adjust the itinerary to fit it into the available time. No refund shall be offered if the client is unable to visit all the places mentioned in the itinerary due to unavailability of time or natural or unnatural circumstances affecting the trip. 
5) If a client requires a vehicle with roof-top carrier additional charges of ₹150/- shall apply.
6) Service will be provided as per the itinerary. Anything which is not mentioned in the itinerary will not be served. You should mention the hotel’s name while preparation of itinerary if you have a hotel pre-booked. This applies to all type of trips, i.e; One Way, Round trip, Multicity, Package trip, etc.

7) Rate/quotation depends on the service detail of an itinerary. A quoted rate may change if any alteration is made in the itinerary at any point of time during or before the beginning of the trip.

8) Kilometer limit in round trip is applicable as “Actual km + 30 km. Any extra kilometer consumed will be chargeable as per system rates.

9) After sightseeing is completed on each day, the cab will drop you at your hotel/drop location and will be garaged in a place of choice of the driver/vendor.

10) Cab will be with you during the hours of 9 AM  to  5 PM. Although, if sightseeing mentioned in itinerary of a particular day is not completed till 5 PM and continues even after the said time period, then the cab will be with you until sightseeing of that day is over. However, any service except cab service for the city to city transfer and sightseeing mentioned in the itinerary will not be provided.

11) Cab will be changed during a trip as per the rules set by the Govt./Taxi Union if places to visit multiple states are included in a single itinerary.

12) Pickup and drop service at a hotel with any of the following vehicle types except luxury cabs, will not be available in Gangtok since those vehicles do not possess permission of Gangtok Municipal Corporation for the same.
● TATA Sumo ● Mahindra Bolero ● Mahindra MAX ● Tempo traveler ● Or equivalent.
Pick up and drop in such cases, will be provided at the nearest taxi stand. Pickup/drop charges from hotel to taxi stand and vice versa in such cases are not included in total booking amount.
13) GOZO cabs may offer one or multiple cabs with lower seating capacity in a scenario where booking of a cab with higher seating capacity is confirmed but such cab is not available due to high demand or any other reason.

14) AC facility inside cab will be switched off in hilly areas.

15) In case of cab breakdown anywhere during the trip, GOZO cabs will try to provide an alternate cab as soon as possible. Such alternate cab may not match the category of the cab the booking was originally made for.

16) The specific type of cabs which are not available in particular places:--
• Compact  Lachung, Lachen, Tsomgo Lake, Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir
• Sedan  Sedans are not available in the places as source listed here -- Baiguney, Chungthang, Dikchu, Gangtok, Jorethang, Kaluk, Lachen, Lachung, Mangan, Namchi, Nathu La, Pakyong, Pelling, Rangpo, Ravangla, Yuksom, Yumthang Valley, Zuluk and other places in Sikkim.
• Tempo Traveler  Tempo travelers are not available in any places of North Bengal and Sikkim. In requirement of 9 seater tempo traveler, TATA Sumo / Mahindra Bolero / Mahindra Max will be provided.
 
17)                                                                      Proof of Nationality
If you are a foreign national, we will require information about your nationality. In some cases, certain rules apply to those who are not citizens of India. You are required to provide papers with proof of your nationality at the time of booking the package.

18) You are required to carry original copy of any valid Photo ID proof (Except Pan Card) i.e. Passport / Driving License / Voter ID / Aadhar card along with 4 copies of passport size photographs for availing the special passes.
19) If for any reason, the sightseeing points that are planned to be visited are either not open or busy or if the plan is constrained by time, you and driver need to adjust the itinerary to fit it into the available time. No refund shall be offered if you are unable to visit all the places mentioned in the itinerary due to unavailability of time or natural or unnatural circumstances affecting the trip.

20) GOZO cabs will not undertake any liability towards any damage or loss of life or any property of the customer due to an accident, theft, robbery or any penalty charged for illegal or immoral activities performed by client/customer against the civic rule.
21) Payment Structure of Customer in Round/package Trip:--
Advance payment Step 1: You are required to pay in full or a minimum of 15% of the total amount as advance to confirm a booking.
Remaining payment Step 2: A minimum of 50% of “Remaining Customer’s Amount” shall be paid to vendor/driver while boarding the cab on the first day of the trip.
Step 3: You are required to pay the rest of the amount at a “Daily minimum amount” basis, which is payable per day during your trip days.
22) Only cab related costs are included in the package.

23) Extra charges per kilometer will be applied if cab runs more than given kilometer.

24) Driver's night allowance INR. 250 for Compact, sedan & SUV and INR. 300 for tempo traveler will be applied if the driver drives between 10 P.M to 6 A.M.

25) An extra amount of INR. 150/- will be applied if you require a vehicle with a roof-top luggage carrier.

26) Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc to be borne by you, which is directly payable on the spot.
27)              Some rules about Nathu La Pass. Consider these while tour to this route.
● Visiting Nathu La pass depends upon the availability of pass permit from "Tourism and Civil Aviation Department". 
● Passes are to be collected at least a day before the visit. 
● Nathu La pass remains closed on Monday and Tuesday. 
● It remains closed on - Sensitive international issues at Indo-China border Or extreme weather like massive snowfall.
● Only Indian nationals are eligible to get passes. 
● You are required to apply for passes only by a local registered Travel Agency authorized by Sikkim Government.
● Documents required -- 1) A photo ID proof 2) Two passport size photographs.
"Nathu La Pass’ in an itinerary is considered as a provisional point of the visit. Charges for Nathu La is subject to change and should be added in the total booking amount. Service of Nathu La cannot be assured since it depends upon the availability of pass permit at a particular time. You can visit Nathu La if situation explained above is in favor".

However, charges for Nathu La Pass will be refunded to you –
• in any case, GOZO cabs cannot provide service in Nathu La Pass for any reason including poor weather/geological condition or natural calamity.
Charges for Nathu La Pass will not be refunded to you –
• if you cancel the trip to Nathu La pass at any point of time during the trip.
• once the pass permit of Nathu La has already been issued.
28)                  Some rules about Tiger Hill. Consider these while tour to this route.
● In order to enter a vehicle in Tiger Hill area vendors are required to procure a pass/coupon from West Bengal Traffic Police department in Darjeeling.
● First 300 vehicles only per day are allowed to get such coupons.
● Coupons are to be collected 24 hours ahead of the trip. There is no spot collection facility available. Hence, a trip to Tiger Hill depends upon the availability of such coupons.
● You do not require to produce any ID card or Photo specifically for this purpose. 
● You do not require to pay any extra charges for such coupon.
● Rules written above are subject to change as per modification made in the guideline by concerned Govt. department.
● GOZO cabs in any circumstances whatsoever will not be held responsible for unavailability of said pass/coupon.
