Tigmo is a combination of stewed vegetables and bread made from fermented dough. The stew is made from local vegetables and also has a non-vegetarian twist. You can also try steamed momos in hot noodle soup. The broth is prepared from onion, ginger, garlic, and other vegetables present in the region. Soy-sauce is also integral to this dish. Lemon or other citrus fruit is added to milk in the process of making chhurpi. It is a side dish and a dip, but one cannot resist eating it heartful. It is available in three flavors- sweet, salty, and plain.
