The supreme deity of the temple is an avatar of Goddess Durga with eight arms, each carrying a powerful weapon. The deity is depicting a standing posture over the demon king Mahishasura, piercing him with her trident. The goddess symbolizes the strength and beauty together.<\/span><\/p>\n
