It is a sweet dish, thicker than soups, made from rice flour, cardamom, ginger, and palm sugar. It has small quantity of cotton seeds extract and so is the name. It is made using flour, some people add butter milk and some add coconut milk, and then shallow fry it on a pan. Parotta has numerous layers, sometimes also called as Laccha paratha.
