This is a traditional dish which can be found any and every where in Rajasthan. Bati is a baked or deep fried ball of flour. It is then dipped in ghee (butter). Churma is made of flour. Rajasthani people, roast the dry wheat flour in ghee and add melted sugar and dry fruits to prepare this sweet dish.<\/span><\/p>\n

These are the local dishes in Mount Abu. You can easily find them with the street vendors. Ghoogri is mostly an evening snack. Lapsi is a sweet dish made from broken wheat, jaggery, and butter.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ghevar is a sweet dish made of flour. The flour paste is deep fried and soaked in sugar syrup. It is also sometimes topped with nuts, condensed milk, or cream to enhance the taste.<\/span><\/p>\n

Apart from these food, you can also try the <\/span>chutneys<\/span><\/i> served with the snacks in the streets. They are bit spicy, but you get to taste a different flavor. The general taste of people in Mount Abu is spicy as it beats the natural heat. Because of a large number of tourists, North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, and Continental food are also available in Mount Abu.<\/span><\/p>\n
