Charminar, Hyderabad<\/span><\/h2>\n

Charminar is a 16th-century mosque located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is a place of historical importance with the mosque on the top floor. <\/span><\/p>\n

The then ruler- Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah pledged before God that he would build a mosque if he helps to eradicate cholera, that was ravaging his city. A prayer for everyone\u2019s well being is always answered and hence, the Charminar was constructed. <\/span><\/p>\n

Makkah Masjid, Hyderabad<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Makkah mosque was also built by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah. It is believed that the central arch of the mosque is made from soil imported from the city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It took 77 years and 8000 workers to build the Makkah Masjid in Hyderabad.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jama Masjid<\/span><\/h2>\n

There are three famous mosques in India named Jama Masjid. The Jama Masjid in Delhi is the biggest mosque in India. It can accommodate 25000 devotees for prayer. It is also one of the most popular Muslim religious sites in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Jama Masjid of Agra is an ancient monument built by the Emperor Shahjahan for his daughter Jahanara. The tomb of the Sufi saint, Sheikh Salim Chisti in Agra\u2019s Jama Masjid is known to fulfill people\u2019s wishes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Jama Masjid in Ajmer is a holy tomb of saint Moinuddin Chisti. The mosque was built to celebrate the victory of Shahjahan over the king of Mewar.<\/p>\n

Bara Imambara, Lucknow<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Bara Imambara in Lucknow is one of the architectural wonders of the world. It is built without any supporting structures like metal or wood. Even the arched roof of the mosque is built without any beam or girder. The astonishing centuries-old mosque is still intact and open to the public for visiting and prayers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hazratbal Masjid, Jammu and Kashmir<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Hazratbal Masjid in Jammu and Kashmir is located on the banks of Dal Lake. The mosque has a holy relic called Moi-e-Muqqadas. People believe that it is prophet Muhammad\u2019s strand of hair.<\/span><\/p>\n
