In the midst of the natural asset, the ZFM has made its home here in Arunachal, hosting one of the best outdoor music festival and accommodating tourists from abroad and home in its 4-5 day long schedule. Hosting a long list of International as well as local musical talents, the festival here and its attendees have shown a wild enthusiasm for the love music.<\/p>\n

Famous for its hilly terrains and paddy fields, the Ziro valley is where the ZFM marks its territory every year on the autumn season (in between September \u2013 October). One of the oldest and pretty developed towns of the state of Arunachal Pradesh, Ziro has been all blanketed by the majestic mountain ranges of Himalaya and its other neighboring hill chains. Inhabited by the local Apatani tribe, these people are one of the best hospitable folks and extremely environment friendly. But one should not be mistaken with the simplicity of the people living here. The literacy rate here (66 %) is even higher than India\u2019s literacy rate of 60%.<\/p>\n

By Road:<\/strong> By road, the private buses available from Guwahati (460 Kms), Itanagar (110 Kms) and Tezpur (279Kms).<\/p>\n

Accommodations at ZFM are often made at camps and tents. If you are avid traveler, pack up your equipment and bring along your own tent and enjoy the stay. Apart from these campsite accommodations near the festival venue, other local homestays and lodges are widely available.
