There are 11 palaces in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan. It is around 400 kilometers from Jaipur. Apart from palaces, Udaipur is home to many courtyards and gardens. The architecture in Udaipur is famous for its intricate peacock mosaics.

Jaisalmer was a trading center and princely state in Rajasthan during the 18th and 19th centuries. The Thar Desert encapsulates the city and because of the desert, Jaisalmer is also known as the Golden city. The main attraction in the city of Jaisalmer is the Jaisalmer Fort, the hilltop citadel, the Maharaja’s palace, and the Jain temples. It is about 600 kilometers far from Jaipur.

Pushkar is a holy pilgrimage site of the Hindus. It homes the only temple of Lord Brahma (the creator god) in India. It is an adorable site for adventurous activities like biking, hiking, hot air ballooning, etc. It is only about 150 kilometers from Jaipur.

Mount abu is a hill station in Rajasthan and very close to the state of Gujarat. It houses the ancient Dilwara Temple. It is also the headquarter of the Prajapita Brahma Kumari Trust.  It is about 500 kilometers far from Jaipur.

The main attractions of the city of Bikaner is the Junagarh Fort and Shri Laxminath Temple. There is also the Karni Mata temples, where the rats are fed. It is about 350 kilometers from Jaipur.

The city of Ajmer homes the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, a holy Muslim saint. There are museums and monuments from the Emperor Akbar’s time in Ajmer. It is only about 135 kilometers from Jaipur. People from over the country visit the Dargah to fulfill their wishes.

Sariska wildlife sanctuary, currently known as the Sariska Tiger reserve is located in the Aravali hills stretched over an area of 800 square kilometers. The reserve that houses the splendid Royal Bengal tigers was considered a national park in the year 1982.
