Making a list always works!

While packing the first thing you should do is make a list. Making a list can save the hassle of running around at the last minute in search of something that’s missing. Only fill up the stuffs that you cannot go without at any any cost.

To roll or to fold?

Firstly, you would think if it is really worth to roll the clothes while packing. What difference would it make? Trust us, it would save tons of room for your other stuff. In addition to that, the clothes tend to be less wrinkled if you roll it smoothly after ironing. After you get to your destination, unroll and hang and then you would see the magic.

Think travel-size

Unless you’re planning on traveling to Antarctica for an extended period of time, there’s no need to pack everything. There’s no need to pack your full-sized shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, etc. You can get hold of most of your essentials wherever you’re going.

But if you wish to take your own products and you only have full sized bottles, then apply this trick. Utilize used empty smaller bottles and transfer little portions of the above items for your travel. If you feel stressed about carrying too many bottles for that 7-day trip, you can go ahead and invest in some bar shampoo and conditioner.

Older sun-glass box to the rescue

Pack your charger and earphones separately in an old sun-glass case. This would prevent them from getting entangled or being weary.

Store your jewelry creatively

Use an old mint container to put your small earrings. You can also use a button to fasten your earrings. This will keep the pair together.

If you’re bringing necklaces and bracelets, try this clever hack — thread them through a straw to prevent them from getting tangled and knotted!

Get hold of socks for your perfume bottles

Protect your perfume bottles and other breakable items by inserting them inside a pair of socks. After that you can stuff them inside your shoes. This would also help in preventing the shoes from getting distorted. Saves space too. Simple enough.

Mandatory medicines

Although it’s not nice to consider sickness striking while traveling, but it’s definitely a possibility. Always carry anti-diarrhea pills whenever you’re traveling. It’s not a matter of if, but when. It’ll hit you when you least expect it.  Band-aids, Neosporin, and anti-itch cream are also good items to include in your medical kit.
